This tests your knowledge of the subtle footwork sequence described by the French terms coupé dessous et dessus and pas de bourrée dessous. A coupé is a small cut of the working foot, and dessous or dessus tells you how that cut relates to the other leg—under or over. So coupé dessous et dessus means you perform two coupés in succession: the first passes under the base leg, the second passes over it.
